A man who lost most of his jaws after a brutal wolf attack when he was an 11-year-old boy will finally get a face transplant, Guizhou Province, China.

Doctor Chen Fei, who will carry out the plastic surgery, said: "The patient’s mouth is all missing; the jaws are distorted. It’ll be the most challenging surgery I’ve ever done in the past 15 years.

The surgery will reconstruct his upper and lower lips and his missing face muscles. We’ll take two musculocutaneous flaps from his legs, and transplant them on to his face after tailoring them. It involves a lot of nerve and vessel sutures."
